Poet, Writer, Educator

My debut collection of poetry, Learning to Drown, is out NOW. In it, I delve into dark events from my childhood to examine what happened, why it happened and the many ways it impacted my life. There are also poems about love, family, toxic masculinity, the apocalypse and an ongoing investigation into the idea of a personal asylum.

“For in tremendous extremities human souls are like drowning men; well enough they know they are in peril; well enough they know the causes of that peril; nevertheless, the sea is the sea, and these drowning men do drown.”
